Lift & Build Under
This cherished Queenslander had weathered more than its fair share — including the rising floodwaters that left their mark and made it clear that something had to change. For this family, doing nothing wasn't an option.
Situated in a residual flood plain, the decision was made to lift the home and build a functional new lower level beneath it, raising the structure above the flood zone and giving the family the peace of mind they deserved. It was a project driven not just by aspiration, but by necessity — a commitment to protecting what they'd built and making the home stronger for whatever comes next.
Stage One is now complete, with the lift and new lower level delivered and the home standing proud above its flood-affected past. But the story isn't finished yet. Stage Two is on the horizon, bringing with it the next chapter of this home's transformation — further works that will see the full vision realised and the home fully restored to its former glory, and then some.
