Variety & Opportunity For Growth
At Oztown Constructions, we don’t just specialise in one stage of the build. We handle everything from the ground up. From set out and pouring footings, right through to framing, cladding, detailed finishes and handover. We are across every step of the process. That means more variety on site, broader experience, and more opportunities to grow your skills. Every job is different, giving you exposure to a range of project scopes and scenarios.
We value quality workmanship, strong work ethic, and people who take pride in what they do. If you have got trade experience - that’s excellent. However, if you are just getting started but show up with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and take responsibility for your work, we’ll back you and help you develop within the role.
We are a tight-knit, growing crew, and we are always on the lookout for motivated carpenters, and apprentices who want to be part of the team.
All positions at Oztown Constructions are full-time, Monday to Friday. We operate on 8-hour workdays and offer a rostered day off (RDO) once a month, giving our team a well-earned extra day to rest, recharge, or take care of personal commitments.

Our offices are based in Brendale. We service a wide range of areas across South East Queensland. Our work spans from inner-city Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, to Redland Bay and across the Moreton Bay region.
Whether it is a high-end renovation in the city or a new build on a larger block further out, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship no matter the location. Being locally based means we understand the unique demands of building in these areas, and it also gives our team the opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential projects.

You will work on a range of high-end residential builds and renovation across Brisbane, from internal remodels, to home extensions, house lifts and new builds. Working in renovations provides variety in your role and helps equip you with a broad range of knowledge. We are often working multiple jobs at once, so you will get constant exposure to a variety of different projects. You will get to see projects through from start to finish. From set out and pouring footings, right through to framing, cladding, detailed finishes and handover.

Qualified carpenters are expected to have a full set of their own tools. Apprentices will be supported as they build their tool kit over time. All trades are expected to have their own vehicle for transport to and from site.

Absolutely. We welcome apprentices at all stages who are keen to learn and ready to put in the work. We also welcome mature age individuals who are wanting a career change, as an apprentice carpenter.
